We came across so many of these signs in the US – er, without the cat on it actually – and I eventually had to ask why the same Chinese sign was in every town and what did it mean.
Doh.
LOL…i thought the same thing nearly 30 years ago when as a kid we immigrated to the usa (from australia). first port of entry, Hawaii with ‘ped xing’ written all over the roads.
i figured it was a secret hawaiin dialect…for a really long time!
